Invitation to Tainan EP Friendly Race

Our Taiwanese friends will be organizing a 1/10 & mini EP Race at Tainan area in September. They are hoping to see drivers from Singapore and exchange racing experiences with us. This will serve as an invitation, at the same time consolidate the number of interested drivers for logistic preparation.

Date: 16-20 September 2010

This competition consists of four groups. Details are as below:

1. 1/10 Stock
2. 1/10 Modified
3. Mini Stock
4. Mini Modified

First Group: 1/10 Stock
Type of cars for competition:1/10; EP cars; Brands are not restricted.
1. Car body must be included (brands are not restricted), width – max. 190mm, height – measured to the car’s roof
2. Car weight – 1400 g and above (include transponder)
3. Motor: To be confirmed
# The event organizer has the right to decide on the motor whether it is qualified before or after the competition. Competitors against the regulations will be disqualified
4. Registration fee: NT$600
5. Battery: lithium regulation (hard shell 7.4V type, capacity are not restricted, min. car weight is 1400g)
6. Competition time: Qualifying run – 5 mins; Final run – 8 mins, 3 runs each

Second Group: 1/10 Modified
Type of cars for competition:1/10; EP cars; Brands are not restricted.
1. Car body must be included (brands are not restricted), breadth – max. 190mm, height – measured to the car’s roof
2. Car weight – 1400 g and above (include sensor), according to international competition regulation with min. weight of 1400g
3. Motor: IFMAR 1/10 rules
4. Registration fee: NT$600
5. Battery: lithium regulation (hard shell 7.4V type, capacity are not restricted, min. car weight is 1400g)
6. Competition time: Qualifying run – 5 mins; Final run – 5 mins, 3 runs each

Third Group: MINI 2WD
1. Mini Modify
Power - 13.5R motor
Gear ratio – no restrictions
Car shell – no restrictions
Any 2WD MINI chassis
Car weight: 1200g
Registration fee: NT$600 (include a lunchbox and a drink)

2.Mini Stock
Power – Handout V6 motor (approximately brushed speed tuned)
Limit to 20 teeth (TAMIYA pinion)
Car shell – no restrictions
Car Types: TAMIYA, HPI, XEVO
Limited to rubber MINI tires only
Car weight – 1200g
Registration fee: NT$600
Competition time for above: Qualifying run – 5 mins; Final run – 8 mins, 3 runs each
Limited to (1 V6 motor per race. Motor should not be tempered with, inspection will be done)

Fourth Group: MINI 4WD
Power – no restrictions
Gear ratio – no restrictions
Car type: MINI size 4WD
Car shell – no restrictions
Tire - no restrictions
Car weight: 1350g
Registration fee: NT$600
Take note: min. of 6 competitors for the game to be carried out
Competition time: Qualifying run – 5 mins; Final run – 8 mins, each run with 3 groups


Prizes：Trophy will be given to TQ and top 3 drivers in every class and main
Attractive prizes to be won for A-Main top 3 drivers
Lucky draw for all participants
Trophy for TQ
