ARC R10 2015 wins first Urban Friday On-Road Bash

Urban Playspace, the new hobbyshop in the heart of downtown Singapore organized their first race last Friday on September 5, 2014. A total of 25 racers present, making up 30 entries across 2 classes (13.5T Non-Boost TC and 17.5T Mini), it was a night to remember.

After losing the only electric on-road track in Singapore at Raceworks, many racers were anxiously waiting to race in this new facility. The organizer took this opportunity to get the track tried out for the first time. Racers were seen practicing the week before in order to get the right setup for the new surface which is not the regular asphalt that most used to it. However, the track surface started out to be low to medium traction, enough traction with the correct tires and setup, and will only get better after more runs on it. Qualifying was taken with the best 3 lap times added up, while 2 finals with the best 1 of 2 to determine the winner.
