P.Y.Tang from Team ARC/BLITZ wins the Round 2 of the 2015 Singapore Electric Nationals. Running an ORCA-powered ARC R10 and debuting the new BLITZ LSF lightweight bodyshell.
After 4 rounds of qualifying, P.Y.Tang ARC took the top qualifying spot posting the only 26-lapper run. Alvin Koh secured 2nd in his Tamiya and Leonard Sim managed 3rd in another ARC. In the A-Final Leg 1, P.Y.Tang extended his lead to 2.5s until he had to retire on lap 4 due to a stripped spur gear. Marcus Choo went on to win Leg 1 with Alvin Koh in 2nd and Hasron Robana in 3rd. A-Final Leg 2, it was a tone-to-tone win for P.Y.Tang, Alvin Koh and Wei Jian Ng finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. A-Final Leg 3 was a different affair when P.Y.Tang went wide on turn 2 leaving a gap for Alvin Koh for the pass. Things turned over quickly in lap 2 when Alvin Koh made a mistake causing a small pile-up up front. Marcus Choo capitalized to take the lead. P.Y.Tang retook the lead on lap 5 and went on to win Leg 3.
