XRAY-ORCA-BLITZ podium at 2013 Raceworks Elite Series Round 4

Going into Round 4 of the Raceworks Elite Series, Team XRAY Singapore's P.Y.Tang and E.C.Wee was very eager to get good results in this round, after missing out the podium for a DNS and DNF in the only qualifying run in Round 3. Rain disrupted the start of the race in the morning causing delays until around afternoon when the first qualifying was started where some parts of the track was still damped.

Dissapointed in a DNS due to a snapped rear belt, P.Y.Tang stated that he has found a better package in his ORCA-powered XRAY T4 with a combination with the BLITZ XFR Lightweight bodyshell. Although still needing more time to practice and testing, P.Y.Tang said that the current setup is good enough to stay in the Top 3. Qualifying of Round 4 started around noon time, with all classes eager to set a good timing. P.Y.Tang was up to the lead with a good pace but spun out a few times at a wet corner, ended up in 2nd. E.C.Wee still trying to adapt to the new XRAY T4 ended up in 6th. Unfortunately, just after Q1 ended, weather again disrupted the race and the race director forced to stop the race and taking the qualifying results as final.
