The 3rd round of the 2011/2012 Norwegian indoor series was held in my hometown Spydeberg during the weekend of February 11th – 12th. We saw a 600m2 big track with a pretty technical layout with lots of low-speed corners as well as the traction was not that high. After testing different tires, the tires to be used were Sorex 28.

Marco Kaufman goes AME/ORCA

The surprise of ETS round 2, Marco Kaufmann put all his bags in one basket and goes AME all the way.
Marco, who has only been racing RC Cars for 3 years impressed a lot of people when he qualified 8:th in the first quali-round at the ETS round 2 in Scandiano Italy.

Assosiated Team Driver - Dennis Fadtke joins Team AME/ORCA

German Associated Team driver Dennis Fadtke changes power for 2012 to the new power source of ORCA.

Dennis is a serious races which has been working his way up in the ranks the last couple of years. With multiple A-Mains in stock classes in all kinds of racing series including the ETS series, DHI Cup, LRP TCM 17T Champion. Dennis is also multiple Polish Champion and on a good road to take the title yet again. Dennis will be using the complete range of ORCA electronics in his Associated TC 6.1

Hazmi's ORCA settings at 2nd BICC Carpet Race

Hazmi from Brunei shared his settings to us during the 2nd BICC Carpet Race but we only had the chance to post it now. The race was held at Pusat Belia, Bandar Seri Begawan. Hazmi was driving an XRAY T3'12 powered by ORCA Vritra VTC MK2 ESC and Litemodz CVS EVO2.

XRAY-ORCA wins ROCS Round 2 (March 19, 2012)

ROCS (Raceworks Singapore On-Road Championships Series) Round 2 took place at Singapore's only electric on-road track at Raceworks Hobbies. One of the most popular on-road races, 3 classes are to be competed over the season in ORCA Spec Class 17.5T, ORCA Super Stock 17.5T and Raceworks Modified. P.Y.Tang driving an ORCA-VX-powered XRAY T3'12, with 3 1st and 2 2nd in Reedy format winning the Raceworks Modified Class. E.C.Wee also in an ORCA-powered T3'11 finished 3rd overall despite winning Round 5, with Jason Lee in Tamiya TRF417X taking 2nd overall.

Martin Crisp of ORCA TQ & wins Modified and 17.5T 2012 Canadian On-Road Nationals (March 13, 2012)

During the March 9,10,11 2012 weekend I competed in the annual Canadian On-Road Championship race which is uniquely held in a shopping mall with the intent of further exposing our hobby to hopefully attract more drivers. This event was put on by a longtime friend of mine, Mark Frechette, and has been growing year over year. The space limitations of the mall meant the track would be small and technical, but I have always like technical tracks.

Center Servo Mount #306220 is made from high-quality, CNC-machined graphite and it allows the servo to be mounted to the chassis without touching it. The servo is mounted using three stands and without any other modifications. With this new servo mounting method, unwanted chassis tweak is eliminated while at the same time it provides more overall traction. The new servo mounting position improves the balance of the car as the servo is mounted more in the center of the chassis.

Yokomo/ORCA surprise TQ & Win by P.Y.Tang at NOOB Singapore Open Buggy Series 4WD (March 4, 2012)

Debuting the Yokomo B-Max4 II World Spec, P.Y.Tang took the ORCA-powered 4WD Buggy to a surprise TQ and overall win at the Round 1 of NOOB Singapore Open Buggy Series. The popular event was held at Raceworks Hobbies at the Bottle Tree Park in Singapore, featuring a medium-sized technical off-road track with 3 mains to compete.

ORCA's Alexander Hagberg takes Q2 at ETS Gran Canaria (March 3, 2012)

Team Xray’s Alexander Hagberg posted his first ever TQ run of the ETS when he steered his T3 2012 to the fastest time in the second qualifier at the Euro Touring Series third round in Gran Canaria.  The Swede, who was fourth fastest in Q1 following a mistake, took Q2 from a much improved Andy Moore with the pace setter from this morning’s opening round Christopher Krapp completing the Top 3.

Young and upcoming star Philip Jeisy from Switzerland has signed to drive the full range of ORCA Products. The youngster from Switzerland has switched to the new power system from ORCA for all his electric cars. Jeisy an established top finisher in the Switzerland Offroad scene will be a great addition to the ORCA team which is being built up. With his friendly face and dedicated hard work he is a great ambassador for ORCA and the results will speak for themselves. AME and ORCA is looking forward to work closely with Jeisy to find the best settings of smooth controlled outrageous power which is the new standard ORCA brings to the track.

Alexander Hagberg of XRAY-ORCA wins at R1GP 2012 Indoor Masters (February 26, 2012)
