417FX Carbon Fiber Chassis
The legendary Smokem FX chassis is now available for the TRF417 and TRF417X. The new Smokem 417FX features a unique carbon weave that is integral to its innovative design. The design and carbon specification was meticulously engineered, tested and refined over many months with the help of a well known TRF driver.
The 2.2mm thick chassis has an overall width of only 88mm to minimize scrubbing during hard cornering. By incorporating many symmetrical elements throughout its design, the 417FX is perfectly balanced in its flex characteristics. This delivers consistent handling from corner to corner, lap after lap. And by complementing this distinctive design with a unique, high performance carbon weave, the 417FX delivers unparalleled steering response while maximizing rear traction. The distinctive carbon weave is also bound to turn heads at the track with its stealthy matt finish.
Unlike many “carbon chassis” that have emerged from the Asian market, the Smokem 417FX chassis is made from 100% carbon fiber, just like all Smokem chassis.
