Sundown Race by Temasek Polytechnic's Radio Controlled Sports Club

Temasek Polytechnic's Radio Controlled Sports Club will be holding it's first Sundown Race on our very own track. All racers are welcomed to join us in this event held by TP RCSC. Let's all make this a successful event.

Free Practice Session : 5th December 2012, 5pm-9.30pm (Raceday lighting conditions will be replicated)
RaceDay : 7th December 2012
Time : Registration starts at 5.00pm
Race Fee : $10

*note : Racers will have to bring/find their own transponders for the race as there will not be any rental transponders

Classes & Restrictions

RCSC Spec Class
Chassis : Any 1/10 Touring Chassis
Motor : Open to all Brushless 17.5T motors
ESC : Open to all ESCs which supports "blinky" mode (No boost/turbo) in which "blinky" mode must be used for this class
Gear Ratio : Minimum FDR of 6.0
Battery : Lithium Polymer 2S hard case 7.4v battery pack / 7.2v 6-cell sub-C sized NiMH batteries
Min Weight : 1450g
Bodyshell : Any 190mm bodyshells; rear wing must not be higher than roofline
Tires : Any touring tires

RCSC SuperStock Class
Chassis : Any 1/10 Touring Chassis
Motor : Open to all Brushless 17.5T motors
ESC : Open to all ESCs (Boosted/Turbo allowed)
Gear Ratio : Open
Battery : Lithium Polymer 2S hard case 7.4v battery pack / 7.2v 6-cell sub-C sized NiMH batteries
Min Weight : 1250g
Bodyshell : Any 190mm bodyshells; rear wing must not be higher than roofline

Race Format

Qualifying
2 Qualifying runs, 6 Minutes per Run. Best lap timings(from any of the 2 rounds) will be used to determine Grid Positions for Finals
Finals
3 Rounds of Finals, 6 Minutes per round. Results from Best 2 of 3 rounds will be used to determine Final Standings. In an event of a tie in position, the racer with the fastest best lap time will be awarded the higher of the two positions.
