Litemodz Design Compatibility Chart @ Quantum!

This is a compatibility chart for Litemodz Design CVS Axles and Driveshafts.

Litemodz Design initial testing at Putri Wangsa Track Malaysia

Recent win and feedback by Racecraft Open 11.5T 2010/11 Stock Champion, Leonard Sim, proven that the unique design of the Litemodz CVS is very advantageous in today's RC cars. Immediate effect of the CVS on scale cars are the elimination of front wheel vibrations or so-called wheel chattering, improves front tire wear, and also faster and smoother cornering speed.

P.Y.Tang recently used the Xray 50mm CVS set on his Xray T3'11 for the Putri Wangsa Track Opening Race in January 2011. P.Y.Tang stated that the CVS takes a little more time to assemble than the conventional driveshafts, but immediate effect can be seen on the bench where front wheel vibration was eliminated. Initial result on the track showed a positive result although more focused testing is required to get an actual data. P.Y.Tang laptime posed a fastest lap of 14.1s at the Putri Wangsa track during the qualifying rounds with a set of older Sorex tires which the car is much more stable and more precise during cornerings and accelerations. During the finals, P.Y. installed the conventional driveshafts back into his T3'11, but the fastest lap in all 3 finals that he could achieved was 14.3s, despite having a new set of tires on. The result showed the CVS to be very positive, although there could be many surrounding factors that could affect the laptimes. The next testing would be in TITC RC City which P.Y.Tang intend to run the CVS both front and rear, which Litemodz Design claims that equalising input and output shaft speeds, in the front and rear, would improve tranmission wind up and tyre wear across.

The Litemodz Design CVS 2pc set comes with a serial number to be registered online for a limited period warranty, and all CVS can be maintained by separate driveshafts, axle and rebuild kit.

P.Y.Tang podium for Xray-Orca-Litemodz at Putri Mart 1/10 On-Road GP and EP Track Opening Race (January 23, 2011)

New Putri Mart Track in Southern Malaysia organized their first race on January 23, 2011 with over 60 entries recorded in total for 1/10 EP Touring Modified Class and 1/10 GP Touring Class. P.Y.Tang finished in 2nd place for the 1/10 EP Modified Class, giving another podium for Xray, Orca and the new brand Litemodz Design.

The qualifying rounds in the 1/10 EP Modified was topped by Ken Ng setting the pace in his Xray T3'11. Having being frustrated the whole morning, P.Y.Tang unable to get a clean run in all the qualifying rounds, including a major crash on the straights caused by a backmarker on qualifying round 3, could only managed to qualified 5th. In the A-Main Final 1, P.Y.Tang picked up pace passing the front runners in the first minute and found himself just behind the leader Ken Ng. While applying pressure on Ken Ng up to the 4th minute, P.Y.Tang managed to take the lead after Ken Ng overshooting the left chicane before the sweeper. Unfortunately at the very last lap, a backmarker caused contact with P.Y.Tang just before the transponder line, allowing Ken Ng to take the win. Already in a bad qualifying spot, P.Y.Tang was only able to finish in 2nd for A-Main Final 2, and another accident causing him to reitre on the A-Main Final 3. Ken Ng took the TQ and 1st, followed by P.Y.Tang and Jazz CK.

Orca Podium for Modified Class at Racecraft Infinity On-Road Challenge Series 4 Grand Final (January 9, 2011)

P.Y.Tang (left)

The Racecraft Infinity On-Road Challenge Series 4 was held on January 9th in Singapore. This is the final series and the points from this race is a compulsory for the series accumulated points. Orca completed the final podium spot by P.Y.Tang in his Orca powered Xray T3'11. Despite disruption by on and off rain, the race was able to complete after a long day. In the Modified Class, qualifying was a tight fight between the top 4 all clocking at 21 laps. Nicholas Lee took the TQ spot followed by Alvin Koh. E.C.Wee shaved 7 seconds from his previous race to qualify 3rd ahead of P.Y.Tang in 4th. Alvin Koh took the win in Final A1, while P.Y.Tang took the win in Final A2. It was down to the Final A3 that the champion was crowned as the race was wide open for Nicholas Lee, Alvin Koh and P.Y.Tang. A cleaner start in Final A3 saw all drivers stuck at the original position where it started off, except P.Y.Tang able to pass E.C.Wee for the 3rd spot, and Nicholas Lee won the Final A3. E.C.Wee had some mishap during the Final A2 dropping him down the table and out of contention for the podium, but finished in a respectable 4th.
