ORCAQ Spark ESC and ORCA RX2 17.5T test at RaceWorks Hobbies



















The new ORCAQ Spark ESC combination with the ORCA RX2 17.5T Professional Brushless Motor was tested at RaceWorks Hobbies. Daryl Thong equipped his XRAY T3'12 with the electronics using at 5.5 final drive ratio, non-boosted or so-called "blinky" mode.

ESC Setting:
Profile: PF1 (0 Timing)
Drag Brake: Off
Brake Force: 90%
Running Mode: Forward/Brake
Battery Mode: Li-xx 2cell
Average Laptime: 20.5sec

The test was to made sure the electronics and motors are reliable and also suitable for the class which are targeted for new racers. The test ended successfully with after 15 minutes at a cloudy day, the ESC and motor came back barely at 40 DegC. The ESC was running without a fan while the motor had a Huge RC High Speed Cooling 40mm Fan on it. The ORCAQ Spark ESC is a intermediate-high level ESC with superior features and functions, at a very affordable pricing.
