In the Raceworks Modified Class, Nicholas Lee set the pace in Qualifying Heat 1 and that result stayed on for the TQ spot. P.Y.Tang about 6 seconds behind took 2nd qualifying spot followed by Jason Lee in 3rd. In the Final A1, P.Y.Tang did a small change in applying the NASA Mighty Gripper on the handout Huge RC High Traction 36R Tires, proves to be worthwhile, when he was able to made a pass on the first lap over Nicholas Lee who was struggling for traction. While holding the lead and was still pulling away, P.Y.Tang made a big mistake skidding off to the side barriers in the in-field resulting him to retire from a broken steering link. Nicholas Lee went on to take the win followed by Jason Lee and Dimas. Using the same methold on tire addictive application, P.Y.Tang again started off strong in Final A2 pressuring Nicholas Lee right from the start. It was clearly that P.Y.Tang had a quicker car, looking left and right in every corner to pass the leader. Opportunity came in the 1.5 minute mark with a strong pass in the in-field by P.Y.Tang. A win was looking good but failure on the steering link struck again, which was probably damaged from the previous run, forced P.Y.Tang to retire after a contact with another car. Nicholas Lee went on to take the overall win and podium spot was looking good for Chee Lip Keong and Dimas who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Nicholas Lee sat up from Final A3, leaving P.Y.Tang unchallenged taking the win over Jason Lee finishing in 2nd and Chee Lip Keong in 3rd overall. P.Y.Tang had to settle for 4th overall.
