Debuting the Yokomo B-Max4 II World Spec, P.Y.Tang took the ORCA-powered 4WD Buggy to a surprise TQ and overall win at the Round 1 of NOOB Singapore Open Buggy Series. The popular event was held at Raceworks Hobbies at the Bottle Tree Park in Singapore, featuring a medium-sized technical off-road track with 3 mains to compete.
P.Y.Tang barely qualified to stay in the top 10 after the first 2 rounds of qualifying, although posting the fastest lap, one to many mistakes costs a lot of time loss. In the qualifying round 3, a more consistent and focused run propelled P.Y.Tang to take the TQ spot less than 0.5sec over the second spot Tein having his fastest timing in the qualifying round 1. BC about 1sec down completed the top 3. Final A1 started off with all top 3 making mistakes over the triples causing a much confusing run, but P.Y.Tang came off top in Final A1 after exchanging multiple leads with BC, who eventually retired in the 4th minute. Tein came in 2nd followed by Hellangel. Final A2 was a much cleaner run with early pressure from Tein on the leader. P.Y.Tang held his nerves clearing all the doubles and triples eventually topping the Final A2 followed by BC
and Tein. With already the overall win on hand, P.Y.Tang pushed his ORCA-powered Yokomo even more, posting fastest laptime at 20.388sec , bagged the 3rd win in Final A3 followed by BC and Png.
