ORCA Asia is please to announce the inaugural ORCA Brushless Championship Asia Finals. The Asia Finals would invite all top finishers in the series from each respective countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia to participate and compete against each other to have the title of ORCA Brushless Grand Champion to be crowned and great prize to be given away during the event. ORCA's No. 1 driver from Sweden, Mr. Alexander Hagberg who is also the lead driver from Team Xray has confirmed his attendance for this event.
Drivers who are interested to come and see and learn from the PRO this is a great opportunity. For Xray car drivers, the opportunity is even more special as Alexander would be here armed with the new T4 and getting setup tips would be a great bonus.

Entry Fees:
RM120.00 for Open Class (1 set of official tire included) (13.5T Turbo-Timing)
RM120.00 for Novice Class (1 set of official tire included) (17.5T Zero-Timing)
Rules & Regulations:
Open Class (13.5T Turbo-Timing)
1. Open motor, any brand of brushless 13.5T motor with IFMAR / ROAR / EFRA approval is allowed
2. In order to be eligible to race in the race, racers are required to use AT LEAST ONE of the following items from ORCA, preferbly all : -
a) ORCA electronics speed controller
b) ORCA batteries
c) ORCA motor
3. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1400g (Including transponder or personal transponder)
4. Tires: RIDE Part No. 26010 Tires ONLY. 3 sets of Tires maximum would be allowed for 13.5T Turbo Timing class to be purchased and handed out during race day only. Special markings would be put on tire for race purpose only!
5. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted
- Limited to only 6 cells Ni-Cd/Ni-MH or 2 cell Lipo
6. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, however NO REVERSE function is allowed during the RACE
7. Maximum no. of participant: 40
Novice Class (17.5T Zero-timing/Blinky Class)
1. Open motor, any brand of brushless 17.5T motor with IFMAR / ROAR / EFRA approved is allowed, PHYSICAL TIMING ON THE MOTOR IS ALLOWED.
2. In order to be eligible to race in Novice class, racers are required to use at least one of the following items from ORCA, preferbly all : -
a) ORCA electronics speed controller
b) ORCA batteries
c) ORCA motor
3. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1400g (Including transponder or personal transponder)
4. Tires: RIDE Part No. 26010 Tires ONLY. 2 sets of Tires maximum would be allowed for 17.5T Zero timing class to be purchased and handed out during race day only. Special markings would be put on tire for race purpose only!
5. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted
- Limited to only 6 cells Ni-Cd/Ni-MH or 2 cell Lipo
6. ESC must be on zero timing at all times during the race. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, provided it has the ROAR initiated Blinking Zero Timing Indicator . (Pls refer to the bottom for the list of approved ESCs)
- However NO REVERSE function is allowed during the RACE
7. Maximum no. of participant: 40
RACE FORMAT:
QUALIFYING : 4 Heats (3 to be taken for final calculation) 5 min each
FINALS : (5min each)
- A Main: 3 rounds
- B Main: 3 rounds
- C Main: 3 rounds
- D Main: 2 rounds
- E Main on wards 1 round.

*Zero Timing Indicator is a blinking light that will blink when the ESC is set to have 0 Deg Timing and Turbo Function Turned off.
